Dethklok es la banda de metal pesado más grande, mejor y más famoso en el mundo. El quinteto, formado por los estadounidenses Nathan Explosion (voz), William Murderface (bajo) y encurtidos el baterista, junto con los guitarristas escandinavos Toki Wartooth y Skwisgaar Skwigelf, tenemos que lidiar con su fama y otras situaciones en sus vidas, al mismo tiempo siendo monitoreados por una organización gubernamental hacia fuera para destruirlas.
